Calum Jones, who has recently been announced as Push Talent Management’s newest recruit to their junior development program, ‘Accelerate’ will head to Queensland Raceway on Wednesday 26th June to test one of Matt Stone Racing’s FGX Falcons.
The opportunity came as Push Talent Management seeks to further its young driver development.
The Queensland based rookie is currently evaluating opportunities in TCR Australia and Australian GT, however Super 3 and Super 2 also remains on the radar.
“I’m really looking forward to the experience of working on and off track with a team such as MSR. They’re such a professional team with a great organisation, so I’m very humbled to have the opportunity to spend some time with them and in their Supercars,” admits Jones.
“I’ve had experience in some GT3 and a MARC V8, but this will be my first ever experience in a Supercar. It’s also really cool that I’ll be able to do this test at one of my home tracks. Luckily, I have my SimworX SX02 Simulator at home, so it’s safe to say I’ve spent a lot of time on it in preparation!
“This day will be a good opportunity to test myself in a new car, and hopefully this will be a category that we can explore in the near future.”
